Scripting & Story Boarding
The importance:
Scripting & Storyboarding are essential components of all video projects, irrespective of their size. You can walk into any film production studios globally and you will be guaranteed to visualise at least one storyboard that visualises actions and settings depicted in the script. The storyboards provide directors, illustrators, animators and the camera operators with the visual perspective on how the final product is going to look like and also helps in planning the shooting schedules as per the requirements of the actors involved and the shooting locations. The completely product may often not be shot exactly as per the storyboards but they definitely provide a guideline for better planning and execution of the project; resulting in the final product closely mirroring the ideals that had been imagined initially.
At Song Bird Productions, it is essential that scripting and storyboarding is completed before touching the camera as it has always provided better control over all our executed projects.
Planning Well – First and Always
It is the Script that always comes first. Once the topic has been settled, our team of experienced scriptwriters come into the picture, continuously asking questions to ensure that there are no unaddressed areas that may have been overlooked. It is important that all intricate details are shared with them including different locations that are going to be utilised and the relevant audience that the end product is being targeted for. Information empowers and hence the more of the same being provided increases the ease of creating the perfect script and its accompanying storyboard.
